After 1.7.0 comes 1.7.4 – DJI distributes a new version of its DJI Fly app. The focus is on the Remote ID function for DJI FPV and the Japanese market. What else the update brings with it, we reveal in the following article.
A week ago there was only version 1.7.0, now follows the DJI Fly App in version 1.7.4. Primarily, this update retrofits the Remote ID function for the DJI FPV, which is necessary in Japan. This has already happened with other DJI models during the year as well.
Beyond that, there are only the usual quality improvements for the app and again some unspecified bug fixes. Even though the Japanese market does not benefit from the Remote ID feature, the new update should be installed due to the general optimizations.

Download DJI Fly App 1.7.4
As usual, iOS users can download the new DJI Fly app version 1.7.0 directly from the App Store. The download* of the app for iOS and Android can also be found on the official DJI site*. For Android, the DJI Fly app has not been available in the Google Play Store since version 1.2.4. It must therefore be obtained from DJI’s website and has its own in-app update mechanism (german) that automatically checks for the latest version.
Note: At the time of this news, the in-app update is not yet available on Android. If you want the update immediately, you have to download the current version directly from the DJI website linked above. Alternatively, you can wait until the app itself offers the update.
The app will then automatically inform you about a new version and can download and install it. Alternatively, you can manually trigger the search for a new version in the DJI Fly app via Profile -> Settings -> Info -> Check for updates.
