We have completely relaunched our website and are now shining in new splendour. In the following article, we would like to give you a brief overview of all the changes.

we are overjoyed to welcome you to our completely redesigned website! 🚀
Whether you’re just getting started in the world of drone flying or you’re already an experienced pilot, you’ll find everything you need here.
New design
The first thing you’ll notice is that we’ve introduced a completely new, modern design. Not only is it sleeker and more modern, but it also makes for better readability and allows us to present you with new, exciting content formats. Articles can now be better presented according to topic to highlight the information that is really important to you.
We have also introduced Dark Mode, which is popular with many readers. If you like it darker, you can now switch to a black design at the top of the page at any time and thus relieve your eyes a little, especially in the evening. We are sure that you will feel at home here.
Outsourcing of the job market
One of our main functions so far has been the job market for drone jobs. However, a lot has happened here in recent years. Especially the merger with skyzr led to a change of course here: In order to be able to give the topic the necessary attention, we removed the entire job market functionality from DeinDrohnenpilot and moved it completely to skyzr.com. There, the focus is fully on the placement of drone pilots. On skyzr you get a variety of free options to get jobs from Germany and Austria and to present yourself with your profile to potential clients. Be sure to check it out!
DeinDrohnenpilot, as a community for drone pilots with numerous instructions, guides, tips and tricks, test reports and the forum, will in future focus more on the transfer of knowledge and training of drone pilots. You can expect lots of exciting new content!
Integration of the Forum
One of the biggest innovations is the integration of our forum directly into the website. In the past, we had a separate comment section for each post. Now, the forum will complement and replace this area in the future, offering you the opportunity to interact more intensively with other drone enthusiasts.
Unfortunately, this adjustment requires a lot of time. Therefore, you will certainly notice at one point or another that the process is not yet complete. However, we expect to have removed all traces of the old comments section within a few days. 🤩
Next week, the forum will also be directly accessible at dein-drohnenpilot.de/forum. The previous separate domain drone-heaven.de will disappear. However, we will ensure a seamless transition here, you don’t have to do anything else or pay attention to anything.
Account extension
But that’s not all. You can now use your account on both the website and the forum with just one login. You only have to register once and can then log in with the data on both sites to use all the functions of our websites.
As a registered user, you will also benefit from exclusive content with your free account.
We also have a useful new feature for you: the possibility to set bookmarks and subscribe to topics. This way you can create your own personal reading experience and never miss an exciting article again. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
Multilingualism
Last but not least, we have been working hard to expand the multilingualism on our site. We have already published articles in English in the past, but not yet obviously offered them on the website. With the relaunch, this is now changing. In the menu you have the option to switch to the English version of our website at any time. We have not yet translated all the content, but we are continuously working on it and will also include other languages in the future in order to allow international readers to participate in our community.
It is still possible that English and German are somewhat mixed in the menus of the site. We will fix this in the next few days.
Future prospects
In the future, you can expect lots of new exciting content on the subject of drones and how you can improve as a drone pilot. This includes more news, more comprehensive guides, more instructions on drones and software, more test reports, in future also videos and much more.
We have a variety of new formats planned, which are already being implemented and will reach you in the coming weeks. We are very happy to have you with us as part of this community and hope for a rainy exchange with each other. Your feedback is welcome here (see forum section below ⬇️).
