In the past few days, the first photos of the DJI Inspire 3 have been spotted. The drone has not yet been confirmed by DJI, but according to the rumor mill, it is on the roadmap for this year. A release could be imminent.
Even if it has not yet been officially confirmed, a successor to the DJI Inspire series is considered certain. At the end of last year, we reported on a published list of DJI drones for 2022, which included the DJI Mini 3 (already released), the DJI FPV Mini (soon to be available as the DJI Avata) and the DJI Inspire 3.
Since the rumors about the first two drones turned out to be true, the list is considered credible. The first photos of the latter drone have now appeared in the wild.
DJI Inspire 3 in flight
The first photo shows the upcoming DJI Inspire 3 in flight. Where exactly the drone is flown and by whom is not apparent. But you can see the typical design of the Inspire models with a camera attached to it.

The second image shows the DJI Inspire 3 on the ground. You can see that the rotor arms move downward when the drone is stationary so that it can stand on them. In addition, the fuselage of the drone is angled so that the gimbal and the camera attached to it have room in the stand.
DJI Inspire 3 release date
When the Inspire 3 will be officially unveiled and go on sale is still an open question. In the list of upcoming DJI drones for 2022 mentioned at the beginning, September was predicted as a possible timeframe. The now published images support this assumption. One thing is for sure: we should know for sure in a month. Until then, we will of course keep you up to date on this topic.
