With a new teaser page, DJI announces the launch of its new Mavic 3 Enterprise series. The launch date is 27.09.2022 at 3 pm (CEST) time.
Almost exactly one year after the introduction of the first Mavic 3 models for the prosumer sector, DJI is preparing for the launch of the Mavic 3 Enterprise models. For this purpose, a corresponding teaser website was published and announced in social media under the motto “Rise to the Call”.

On the DJI Enterprise website, the teaser image is shown at the top, including the tagline and a reference to September 27, 2022, 3 p.m. (CEST).
The image clearly shows a drone, which reveals some details upon closer inspection. The shape of the drone clearly suggests the Mavic 3. However, a completely new camera system can be seen, which was to be expected for the enterprise sector. What types of recordings will be possible is not yet known. Of course, the option for thermal imaging using a thermal camera is obvious.
If you take a closer look, you will see a different camera system in the drone’s reflection, which is similar to that of the Mavic 3. On the one hand, this confirms the connection to the Mavic 3, and on the other hand, it could indicate two different models of the Mavic 3 Enterprise.
Successor to the Mavic 2 Enterprise
The new models will obviously replace the existing Mavic 2 Enterprise models. Therefore, it can be assumed that the new Enterprise series will be equipped with similar and improved features. Which will also have a corresponding impact on the price. Those who found the previous Mavic 3 models too expensive should rather not concern themselves with the prices of the Enterprise models. Because these are according to experience again significantly higher than the prices of the prosumer models.
