After the first rumors about DJI RC remote control support for the Air 2S drone, there is now solid evidence in the form of a photo. You can see the packaging of a new combo, consisting of drone and remote control.
Last week, we already reported on the first rumors about the support of the DJI RC remote control for the DJI Air 2S drone. It was about a chat with a supposed DJI support employee.
Now there are more concrete clues that clearly support these first rumors. A photo of a DJI Air 2S packaging is currently being circulated on Twitter. The cover shows a combo of Air 2S and DJI RC. It could hardly be clearer.
Even though the picture is a bit blurry and we do not know exactly where it comes from, it looks very real. Especially since the source, the well-known leaker @OsitaLV, has already proven that his tweets are reliable in the past.

More information about Air 2S + RC Combo missing
However, there is no further information so far. Neither about the possible price of the new combination nor the date of the presentation. An official product launch is assumed for October 2022, so we might know more about this in the next few days.
The unit price of the DJI RC (technical data) is 299€. This makes it very attractive in terms of price, because the previous DJI RC Pro is much more expensive with an MSRP of 999€ and thus costs as much as the Air 2S itself. How expensive a corresponding bundle will be, however, is open.
The DJI RC Pro is already compatible with the Air 2S. If the rumors turn out to be true, the DJI Air 2S will support most of the controllers from the company, in addition to the well-known RC-N1, the Smart Controller, the DJI RC Pro and the DJI RC. This speaks very much for the popularity of the Air 2S drone.
